The final part of the experiment involved a "non-trivial" redox reaction between aqueous ions. This is typical of these more complicated reactions. Such reactions are difficult to write because the products formed do not follow a simple "script" like the single displacement reactions (or the double displacment reactions like precipitations). For that reason you will be given products when faced with these reactions. |
