Oxides of elements also exhibit properties
which show evidence of some kind of periodic behavior. In the
experiment you looked at both water solubility and the acidity of
the resulting solution. What is the trend there? Based on this trend, how might you expect the oxides of chlorine to behave? Is there any evidence to suggest the possible room temperature phase of these oxides? |
